Traveling with an infant can be disconcertingly stessful. Carrying your baby around crowded airports and terminals with some additional baggage in tow is not the most enjoyable experience. The fact that airports and terminals are like incubators for different types of illnesses is not comforting either. Fortunately, there are ways to minimize your baby’s exposure to the airport crowd and make your life less stressful. Here are some air travel tips for you to help you keep your calm and enjoy the trip with you little one.

Be Prepared With Your Air Travel Survival Kit

Be prepared for almost anything as babies are vey unpredictable. Include an air travel survival kit. Your air travel survival kit should contain some baby clothes, diapers, wipes, blankets, plastic bags for dirty diapers and other baby supplies. Packing an extra shirt might be a wise idea.

Take The Late Night Flight

Generally speaking night air travel is less stressful compared to day air travel. If you travel during the night you and your baby do not have to deal with a lot of hustle and bustle of airports because airports are less poulated during this time. Traveling at night is less stressful for you and your baby. Most babies are generally more settled at night so you can breathe a sigh of relief. Unless your baby is feeling uncomfortable about something, there is a big chance that he or she will sleep through the flight. Another interesting thing about air travel at night is that most airline companies give air travel discounts for night flights. If the travel gods are with you you can get as much as 50% off on the regular day time air travel fare. Now that is real value for your money.

Take Advantage Of Pre-boarding

Most airlines in the country offer free boarding to parents who are traveling with infants and little children. Appreciate this offer and board the plane ahead of the rest of the passengers. This should give a couple extra minutes to get settled in the aircraft before the rest of the passengers start filling the place up and making a lot of noise.

Turn On Your Auto Ignore Button

Even though you would like to keep your baby quiet throughougt the trip, your baby may wake up and make a fuss. If this happens and people start looking at you pointedly, simply turn on your auto ignore button and pretend that they are not there. Cheap Air Travel Video Compilations
