It is not easy to find information on flights to North Cyprus because non of the major airlines fly there.Airlines that fly to North Cyprus do not use the central reservation systems used by other airlines.  This means that travel agents can not find any details of the services on their booking systems.

This is because of the sanctions imposed by the UN on North Cyprus after the Turkish invasion.It is easy to get to North Cyprus and flights are generally pretty full.

Currently there are about about 40 flights a week from UK to North Cyprus and the number increases during the school holidays.  All flights have to stop in Turkey en-route which adds about an hour to the journey time but through passengers stay on the aircraft. Although prices start at £150 return very few seats are available at these fares and so they sell very quickly.A return tickets usually costs between £250 and £350 depending on season.

The roads in North Cyprus are very quiet except when you get near the towns of Lefkosa (Nicosia), Girne (Kyrenia) and Magusa (Famagusta) which have all the usual traffic jams. Car Hire in North Cyprus is cheap and the prices, depending on season are between £11 and £16 per day for a car for 4 persons.There is much to see on the island and a hire car is the best way of seeing it.
