Shark diving holidays have been famous ever since the film “JAWS” came out. This film sparked shark interest frenzy and people became fascinated by these more majestic creatures. More and more people are looking for destinations where they can go and swim with these animals, so here are three of the top diving locations in the world.
South Africa shark diving. Depending on what kind of shark dive you want, this is the one where you come to visit some of the scariest sharks in the world. This shark has starred in many films, and its torpedo shaped body, not to mention its size is easily distinguishable from any other shark. The Great White Shark is a popular icon in the Shark world, and South Africa offers this shark a rich feeding ground, and the cool waters are very popular.
Maldives diving with the largest of all the Sharks. Many people immediately assume the Great White is the largest of all the Shark Species. They would be very wrong; the Whale Shark is by far the largest, growing up to about 15 metres in length at their maximum. The whale shark used to be thought of as quite dangerous, but this is very wrong, in some cases they actually become quite playful with tourists, they are sometimes referred to as “gentle giants”.
Red Sea Diving holidays. Then there is the Red Rea, diving in Egypt is truly great. This has become extremely popular for the amount of sharks available here. The odds of seeing a shark are very high, mainly because there are so many different kinds, including the Tiger Shark. This is the shark considered by professionals to be the most aggressive of all the species. It seems to be very territorial and attacks anything that looks like it could be food
Shark Diving holidays are becoming more popular, but they do need to be approached with caution. This doesn’t mean that they aren’t an amazing experience though, go ahead and have some fun!
